The Florida Orchestra gives a free Pops in the Park concert with guest conductor Joseph Mechavich featuring familiar compositions by Brahms, Lecuona, Saint-Saens and others, along with highlights from "The Sound of Music," "West Side Story," "Porgy & Bess," and "Star Wars." The concert will conclude with Tchaikovsky’s "1812 Overture." Along with a picnic supper, attendees are invited to bring canned food for the food bank Tampa Bay Harvest.
