St. Urho's Day Mojakka (Beef Stew) Dinner /Program
Our Finnish-American Patron Saint, St. Urho, will be celebrated on the 17th of March...the day after his special day(March 16th)! A delicious stew, fresh homemade bread, are amongst the great things that we will serve to all! Celebrants can come dressed in green and purple....Green for the grape leaves, purple for the grapes! St. Urho chased the grasshoppers out of the vineyards, saving the crops for the Finns who were dependent on them for their "spirits". Come one, call all to help our local St. Urho chase our "grasshoppers"!!!!We'll have our chorus sing his praises, and then we'll have a well-known "crooner" entertain us! Reservations/tickets required! Call 727 846-0749!!!!!
