Family Offers $20,000 For Information On Man Missing Since 2016

Peiarre Canty, who suffers from mental disorders that require medication, has been missing since October 2016.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A family is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Peiarre Canty.

Canty, who suffers from mental disorders that require medication, has been missing since October 2016. He may appear confused but is not known to be violent.

There have been possible sightings of the man in New Port Richey, Tampa between Westshore Plaza and Kennedy Boulevard, Hyde Park, Nebraska Avenue and the Bayshore area. He may be asking people for change.

Canty has a distinct tattoo on his chest of praying hands with rosary beads. He also has a scar on the back of one of his heels.

He usually has a beard or a mustache, and his left hand shakes. He is Black, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 130 pounds with dark hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information can contact Detective Joe Ioppolo at the New Port Richey Police Department at 727-232-8905. Anyone providing confirmed tips that lead to Canty's location will be eligible for the cash reward.
