FL Troopers Seek 3 Men Who Attacked Driver Following Minor Crash

The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help to find a driver and his two passengers who attacked a Port Richey man.

TRINITY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help to find a driver and his two passengers who were involved in a minor collision on State Road 54 and then got out of their car and began kicking and punching the other driver involved in the accident.

The accident occurred on Feb. 14 at 2:30 p.m.

An unknown man driving a red car was heading east on SR 54 approaching the intersection of Hospital Boulevard while a 45-year-old Port Richey man was driving a 2007 Chrysler 300 directly ahead of the red car.

According to troopers, the red car accelerated and passed the Chrysler in the left lane and then swerved back into the center lane ahead of the Chrysler. The red car stopped abruptly, and the Chrysler struck it from behind, causing minor damage.

Troopers said the driver and two male passengers got out of the red car and began attacking the Port Richey man, punching and kicking him in the middle of the road. All three men then fled the scene.

All are described as Black with short hair and wearing black T-shirts.
