Holiday Man Critically Injured in Motorcycle Crash
The accident that left a Holiday man critically injured happened Sunday along Little Road.

Holiday, FL — A 58-year-old Holiday man was critically injured in a Sunday morning motorcycle crash on Little Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Jerry Peckham was heading north on Little Road around 11:24 a.m. at a “high rate of speed” on a Honda motorcycle. Peckham was just north of River Crossing Boulevard when he overtook a slower moving vehicle after completing a lane change, troopers wrote in a report.
Troopers say Peckham tried to slow down, but lost control and left the road. His bike entered the median, hit a guardrail and overturned.

Peckham, troopers say, was thrown from his bike and suffered critical injuries.
The crash remains under investigation with charges pending the outcome. Peckham was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the highway patrol report said.
