Holiday Woman Killed in U.S. 19 Pedestrian Crash
The accident happened Thursday night as the woman was crossing the roadway.
HOLIDAY, FL — A 40-year-old Holiday woman is dead following a Thursday evening crash on U.S. 19.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Nicholas John, 25, of New Port Richey was heading northbound just before 8:30 p.m. when Jennifer Diane Martin crossed west on foot just north of Buena Vista Lane. Martin, a highway patrol report said, walked into John’s path.
Martin died at the accident scene, troopers said.

Charges are pending further investigation.
John was not injured.
