HUDSON, FL -- A 43-year-old Hudson man was arrested after Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said he tried to pull the jaw off a 65-year-old woman.

Deputies charged Jamie Lee Byrd with battery on a person 65 or older and resisting arrest without violence.

Byrd lives in the same home on Hudson Avenue as the victim. On Friday, Feb. 22, deputies said he walked over to the victim while she was sitting in bed and threatened to kill her. He then used both hands to pull the woman's mouth open, telling her, "I will pull your jaw off," said deputies.
