Motorized Bike Rider Killed In Crash With Pickup Truck
A 40-year-old Hudson man has died after his motorized bike collided with a pickup truck on Fairwinds Road.
TAMPA, FL — A 40-year-old Hudson man has died after his motorized bike collided with a pickup truck on Fairwinds Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 6 p.m. Tuesday, a Ford F150 pickup truck driven by a 55-year-old Spring Hill man was heading west on Fairwinds Road approaching Colony Road.
The Hudson man was heading east on Lake Karl Drive on a Yamaha QT50 motorized bike approaching Colony Road.

Troopers said the pickup truck ran the stop sign at the intersection and struck the motorized bike.
The bike rider was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
