New Port Richey Man Killed in Hudson Crash

HUDSON, FL — A 51-year-old New Port Richey man is dead following a Tuesday night crash on U.S. 19 at Dipaola Drive.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Dominick Corigiano Sr., 50, of Spring Hill was heading north on U.S. 19 around 10:48 p.m. in a Chrysler Town & Country. At that time, a man was walking at the south end of the intersection of U.S. 19 and Dipaola, which has no crosswalk.

Troopers say Corigiano’s Chrysler struck the man, who died at the scene.

The pedestrian’s name has not yet been released by authorities. The crash remains under investigation with charges pending the outcome.
