New Port Richey Police Investigate Drive-By Shooting
New Port Richey Police are seeking a dark-colored SUV involved in a drive-by shooting Wednesday, Nov. 7.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- New Port Richey Police are seeking a dark-colored SUV involved in a drive-by shooting Wednesday, Nov. 7.
According to police, around 4 p.m., someone in an SUV shot a number of rounds from a 9 millimeter handgun at a man standing outside in the 5900 block of Illinois Avenue.
The victim, who police are not naming, was transported to Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center to be treated for a lower body gunshot wound. Police believe the victim was acquainted with the shooter.
