PASCO COUNTY, FL — The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County will be holding second dose vaccination clinics beginning Jan. 26.

Anyone who received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination between Dec.31 and Jan. 8 will receive an email from "no-reply@cdrmhealth.com." The email will not come from the Pasco County Health Department to register for the second dose.

You will need to create an account through CDR Maguire Health & Medical or call 844-770-8548 to register for the second dose.

Residents are required to have an account with CDR Maguire Health & Medical to register for a vaccination appointment. Appointments have been set aside for just second doses, so residents will have a slot available via the link that is sent to them from CDR Maguire.

Second dose appointments will be held between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 26, Jan. 28 and Feb. 4 at the Sears Auto Center, Gulfview Square Mall, 9409 U.S. 19, Port Richey.

It is recommended that the second dose be given 28 days after the first dose, however, the Moderna vaccine has a four-day grace period before the due date and can be administered any time after the due date. Second doses should be administered as close to the recommended interval as possible but there is no maximum interval between the first and second dose.

The health department has only used Moderna vaccine and will be using it for the second doses as required.

If the online patient portal was used to register for an appointment (instead of calling), those people should bring a printed or digital copy of the confirmation email they received containing a QR code, the vaccination card they received with first dose as well as a photo I.D. to the appointment.

Testing will not be held on the days the vaccination clinics take place.
