With a flood watch in effect for Pasco County through Monday evening, residents interested in battening down the hatches will find some help available.
The county has announced that a number of sand bag locations are open for business until 7 p.m. Sunday and again from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.
While sand bags can be had as the workweek kicks off, county officials stress getting them sooner rather than later.

“The time to use them is today before the rain,” spokesman Doug Tobin said.
Heavy rain is anticipated Sunday and well into Monday as the remnants of former Tropical Storm Erika pass by the Bay area. Forecasters at the National Weather Service say as much as 5 inches of rain may fall.
