Pasco Woman Accused Of Hitting Grandmother On Head With Hammer

Pasco County sheriff's deputies arrested a 21-year-old woman who reportedly hit her grandmother in the back of the head twice with a hammer.

BAYONET POINT, FL -- Pasco County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 21-year-old woman who reportedly hit her grandmother in the back of the head twice with a hammer.

Skye Stamper is charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 years or older.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies were called to a home on Elkton Avenue Monday, Aug. 27, by a 66-year-old woman who said her granddaughter hit her twice on the head with a hammer. She showed deputies an inch-long laceration and bruising caused by the blows.

A witness confirmed the grandmother's story.

Stamper was arrested and taken to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center where she's being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
