Pasco Woman Wins $1 Million
She claimed one of the big prizes in the Florida Lottery's 50X the Cash scratch-off game.

Loida Emmons of Land O’ Lakes is almost a million dollars richer thanks to a scratch-off ticket purchase made in Tampa.
Florida Lottery Officials announced Friday that Emmons, 46, had claimed the $1 million top prize in the 50X the Cash scratch-off game. Emmons chose to receive her winnings in a single, lump-sum payment of $733,560.
The winning ticket was purchased from Neighborhood Food Mart, 11620 N. 22nd St. in Tampa. That retailer earned a $2,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

The 50X the Cash game costs $10 a card, according to a media release from the Florida Lottery. All told, it offers more than $164 million in cash prizes, including a total of 16 $1 million tickets. Seven of those tickets still remain. The game’s overall odds for winning are one-in-3.46, according to the lottery.
