Port Richey Man Accused Of Battering Girlfriend With Burrito

A 41-year-old Pasco County man was arrested after his girlfriend accused him of battering her with a burrito.

PORT RICHEY, FL -- A 41-year-old Pasco County man was arrested after his girlfriend accused him of battering her with a burrito.

Pasco deputies arrested Peter Michael Elacqua of Felsdale Avenue in Port Richey after he was accused of shoving his girlfriend into a chair and then throwing a burrito in her face.

The sheriff's office said the couple were at their home on Friday night when they got into a verbal argument that turned physical.

When the deputy arrived, he said the girlfriend had the contents of a burrito splashed across her face, neck and shoulder.

Elacqua fled the home before deputies arrived and refused to say where he was or turn himself in when deputies called him on his cell phone.

Deputies finally caught up with him on Monday, Feb. 11, and charged him with domestic battery.
