Port Richey Strip Club Murder Suspect Arrested in New York
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says that man wanted in relation to the shooting death of David Avant is now behind bars.

The long arm of the law has caught up with the man wanted in connection with a shooting outside the Brass Flamingo in Port Richey last December.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office says police in Broome County New York arrested Taurezs Leigh Bullock, 28, on Pasco warrants for first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder. The shooting in question took place around 2:15 a.m. Dec. 19 outside the 9034 U.S. Highway 19 strip club. David Avant, 27, died as a result.
Bullock was located in a town called Dickson.

“During Monday’s arrest, Bullock was driving a car that was being investigated by Broome County deputies,” wrote Pasco sheriff’s spokesman Eddie Daniels Jr. in an email to media. “Bullock originally gave a false name to authorities, but when he was positively identified, the warrants from Pasco County were discovered.”
Deputies also found heroin and a digital scale in the car, Daniels said. When Bullock’s hotel room was searched, police found 25 credit cards with different names, three fake IDs, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.
