Reward Offered in New Port Richey Bank Robbery
A tip that leads to an arrest in the July 8 Wells Fargo robbery could be worth $3,000.

New Port Richey, FL — As New Port Richey police continue to search for the man responsible in the Friday robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank, Crime Stoppers Tampa Bay is sweetening the deal for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
Crime Stoppers announced Monday morning that it is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information in the case.
The robbery in question occurred around 1:56 p.m. July 8 at Wells Fargo bank, 6604 Massachusetts Ave. Police say a man walked into the bank, walked up to a teller and demanded cash. When the teller handed over money, the man took off.

The suspect is described as being in his early to late 20s. He stands between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-9 and was last seen wearing a white and blue striped shirt and long pants.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS. Anonymous tips may also be submitted online at www.crimestopperstb.com. Those who want to be eligible for the cash reward need to contact Crime Stoppers by phone.
