Serial Bank Robbery Suspect Captured, Deputies Say
A reward was being offered for the capture of the man authorities say is responsible for three recent Pasco robberies.
Update Sept. 22 4:02 p.m.: The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office says it now has Christopher Drago in custody. The investigation remains active.

Christopher M. Drago, 30, has been connected to three recent bank robberies in New Port Richey and Hudson. In all three instances, the suspect walked into the banks, handed a demand note over to the teller and then left after the exchanges, authorities say. In one case, a Monday robbery at a GTE Financial Credit Union, the suspect was spotted getting into a cab to flee the scene.

- GTE Financial Credit Union, 6901 State Road 52 in Hudson on Sept. 21 at 5:31 p.m.
- Wells Fargo Bank, 8994 State Road 52 in Hudson on Sept. 18 at 3:17 p.m.
- BB&T, 6500 Massachusetts Ave. in New Port Richey, Sept. 15 at 11:55 a.m.
A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information that leads to the arrest of Drago. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 1-800-873-TIPS. Tips may also be submitted online at www.crimestopperstb.com.
