Sheriff Says Woman Struck Animal Officer Who Tried To Take Dog
A Spring Hill woman was arrested after deputies said she struck a Pasco County Animal Services officer who was trying to take her dog.

SPRING HILL, FL — A Spring Hill woman was arrested after deputies said she struck a Pasco County Animal Services officer who was trying to take her dog into custody for quarantine.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Ashley Ray, 33, of Greensboro Street in Spring Hill is accused of hitting the animal control officer and then running away with the dog.
She was later pulled over driving her grandmother's car by a sheriff's deputy who also found marijuana in the car.

She was charged with battery and possession of marijuana.
Her unvaccinated dog was quarantined for 10 days at Pasco County Animal Services after biting a person.
