Substitute Teacher Charged in Molestation Case
Pasco deputies say he may have molested two victims more than 50 times.

A 68-year-old New Port Richey man has been charged with lewd and lascivious molestation and lewd and lascivious battery stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred several years ago.
Roy Danny Wingo, a former Pasco County substitute teacher, was brought into custody Friday after Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies say an investigation uncovered two young victims who were allegedly molested more than 50 times. The incidents, the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media, occurred several years ago.
“He is accused of molesting two victims more than 50 times, the last time occurring in 2012,” the email said.
