Suspect Shot by Pasco Deputies

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a person was shot by deputies Monday afternoon in the Port Richey area.

The incident took place at 10305 Hickory Hill Drive.

Details in the case are not yet available, but the sheriff’s office says no deputies were injured. The suspect has been taken to a local hospital for treatment.

It is unclear at this time if the person is a male or female or what prompted the shooting. The agency has not yet said how many deputies were involved. It also hasn’t released the person’s condition.
