PORT RICHEY, FL — A suspicious device found inside a vehicle during a Thursday morning traffic stop prompted the temporary closure of all southbound lanes of U.S. 19 in Port Richey, the Pasco Sheriff's Office said in a social media post around 10 a.m.

Deputies discovered the device during a traffic stop on U.S. 19 near State Road 52, prompting authorities to temporarily shut down southbound lanes from Beacon Woods to SR 52 as a precaution.
