Trinity Teen Sexually Battery Toddler, Deputies Say

The boy is accused of battering a 3-year-old girl at an in-home daycare in Trinity.

Trinity, FL — A 16-year-old Trinity boy has been charged with sexual battery-rape after Pasco County detectives say he had inappropriate encounters with a toddler at his mother’s in-home daycare.

An investigation into the alleged sexual battery began in June. Deputies arrested the teen, an 11th-grader at Academy at the Lakes in Land O' Lakes, on Tuesday.

According to an arrest report, the incidents occurred at his mother’s Amaryllis Court home during the child's naptime. Detectives say the boy went into the room while the children were unattended by adult caregivers and exposed his penis. He is also accused of forcing a 3-year-old girl to engage in oral sexual activity, according to an arrest report.
