Victim Identified in Fatal WingHouse Hit-And-Run
A New Port Richey man faces charges after the death of a 90-year-old Clearwater man Saturday.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The New Port Richey Police Department has released the name of the man killed in a Saturday morning hit-and-run near the WingHouse.
According to the agency, Roger Leo Conlon, 90, of Clearwater was killed just after midnight Saturday while riding a scooter in the area of U.S. 19 and Main Street. Police say Marc Thomas Boysen, 43, was driving west on Main Street approaching U.S. 19 at the time. Boysen is accused of crashing into the rear of a car at the intersection and then hitting Conlon’s scooter.
Conlon was killed at the scene.

“Boysen then sideswiped another sedan, while still traveling north in the southbound lanes,” an email from the police department said. “Boysen entered the parking lot of the WingHouse, with the male still on the hood of his sedan.”
Police say Boysen then struck another car before being detained by witnesses from the 6515 U.S. 19 WingHouse.

Boysen of New Port Richey was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death, leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, DUI property damage and felony DUI. Boysen remained in the Land O’ Lakes Jail Wednesday. Jail records indicate the DUI was his third in 10 years.
