2 Airlifted Following Fall Down Stairs

A 90-year-old woman and 2-week old baby were airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa Sunday night following a fall down the stairs at a Wesley Chapel home.

According to Pasco County spokesman Doug Tobin, the accident happened around 7 p.m. at 7119 Peregrina Loop. The woman was carrying the child when she fell.

Two helicopters were called to the scene and both people were taken to St. Joseph’s.

The names of the victims and their conditions are not available at this time, Tobin said.
