3rd Arrest Made in Apartment Complex Shooting

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s detectives have charged a third man in the Nov. 7 death of Damian Santos.

According to the sheriff’s office, the incident unfolded around 12:04 a.m. Nov. 7 when deputies were called to the Casablanca apartments, 14519 Hansel Lane, in response to a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered Santos dead inside a vehicle. While two suspects, Joshua Dondree Green, 21, and Matthew James Green, 22, were charged in the death shortly after the crime, a third man has now been charged. The Greens, incidentally, are not related.

Allen James Waddell, 22, now faces first degree murder and robbery with a firearm charges.

Waddell was arrested Monday. He was being held in the Hillsborough County Jail Tuesday morning without bond.

The investigation into the death continues.
