5Ks, Fund-Raisers; 5 Things You Need to Know About New Tampa Schools
Here is a round-up of cool and important events coming up at local schools.
The following information comes from school websites:
- Tonight (Jan. 26) is Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Band Night from 5-8 p.m. at 10920 Cross Creek Blvd. Beef’s will be donating a portion of every purchase to the band.
- will hold its Run With Pride 5K and 1 mile fun run 8:30 a.m. Feb. 4. Sign up now. For more information, click on Pride Elementary’s PTA website.
- Pride is not the only school with a 5K on Feb. 4. The Wildcats will hold one too at 8:30 a.m. For more information, click on Wharton’s website.
- will hold its Kindergarten Round Up on Feb. 15 at 9 a.m. For more information, click on Heritage Elementary’s website.
- , in conjunction with the PTSA, is creating a large photo collage for the upcoming 10th anniversary of the educational facility. Organizers are looking for pictures of items with the word “Freedom” on them. Send images to barb67@tampabay.rr.com.
