Patch: How did you get into bartending?
Hastu: I went to college in Canada for sociology and then worked in social services. Later I realized that wasn't what I wanted because I am a people person, and that world was different than I thought, so I got back into bartending!

Patch: What brought you to Florida from Canada?
Hastu: Really, the weather was one of the main reasons!
Patch: So what is a great perk about this job?
Hastu: I love all of the seasonal events here. We had an Oktoberfest thing (in the fall) here: Taptoberfest. ... It was big.
Patch: What's your favorite type of drink to serve?
Paige: A homemade drink that we concocted here at the Brass Tap. We have one called the Dirty Hoe. It's Hoegaarden beer and a raspberry flavored beer — a little sweet but not too overpowering.
