Bartender Spotlight: World of Beer's Neill Boyd

Patch sat down for a chat with Boyd to discuss beer, food and chick flicks.

Patch: How did you get into bartending?

Boyd: I worked for a catering company originally and I kind of just took the opportunity. I wanted to make more money.

Patch: What do you like about it?

Boyd: I like meeting new people everyday.

Patch: What is an interesting drink request you have fulfilled?

Boyd: A girl wanted a sample of every beer as one beer and she liked it. Her last name was Dance so I called it The Dance.

Patch: What is the thing you like least about bartending?

Boyd: Being here late and not being able to sleep. The hours make it hard to get onto a set-sleeping schedule.

Patch: What else do you like?

Boyd: I love food. I like experiencing new restaurants. I also like traveling, sports and working out.

Patch: What is a fact others would be surprised to know about you?

Boyd: I enjoy chick flicks. Not bad ones like "Mean Girls," good ones like "The Notebook."
