Bayfront & Brews Event Continues Redevelopment Conversation

Sarasota Bayfront 20:20 (www.sarasotabayfront2020.com), a coalition of community organizations united in support of a vision for Sarasota Bayfront, is hosting the Bayfront & Brews event this Saturday to raise awareness and gain further community input.

Bayfront & Brews will take place on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 from 4 – 5:30 p.m. at JDubs Brewery located at 1215 Mango Ave. in Sarasota. Free and open to the public, the event will feature an open-house format with informational tables and social media avenues for audience comment. The first 100 people to attend will be treated to a free beer.

With the recent addition of Alinari at Rosemary Place, there are now 25 organizations with a common goal of moving forward with developing a vision for the Sarasota Bayfront. Those organizations include: Alinari at Rosemary Place, Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast, Coalition of City Neighborhoods Association, Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County, Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, Gulf Coast Community Foundation, Visit Sarasota County, Rosemary Association, Sarasota Garden Club, Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, North Trail Redevelopment Partnership, Sarasota Orchestra, Van Wezel Foundation, The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County, The Players Theatre, Tahiti Park Neighborhood Association, Sarasota Opera, Argus Foundation, St. Armands Business Improvement Development, Condominiums on the Bay, Art Center Sarasota, Bird Key Homeowner’s Association, Downtown Sarasota Condo Association, Downtown Sarasota Alliance and The Ringling College of Art & Design.
