Summertime and the living is easy…..

Well, it is unless you have a house full of kids that are out of school for the summer and are looking for something fun to fill their summer vacation! Collective Soles Arts Group is the solution for the artsy kids in your house. This summer we are offering a wonderful mix of ballet, dance drama and creative camps for kids from preschool age through 6^th grade.

Angelina Ballerina Camp: For the tiny dancers in your life ~ what would be more fun than a summer adventure with Angelina Ballerina Camp?  Campers will spend the day dancing, acting, improvising and doing some super fun arts and crafts using the popular Angelina Ballerina series created by author Katharine Holabird and illustrator Helen Craig, as a theme. Della Marsan, director.

The camp will run June 17-21 Time: 10:00-12pm (ages 2-1/2 – 5) Time: 1:00-3:00pm (ages 5-8) Snacks provided. Cost: $100   Drop in rate:  $25 per day.

Moving To Read – Creative Arts Camp:  What is YOUR favorite story? How would you like to spend a week bringing out your creative side moving and grooving to a favorite books. Moving to Read Summer Camp seeks to promote literacy by integrating storytelling, dance and movement.  Through our reader's theatre format, cast members and audience members will actively participate in bringing literature to life.  Our summer camp will encourage early elementary students to explore literature by portraying characters from a focus story through their own creative lenses Dr. Julie Omodio-Griess, director.  

June 24-28 Time: 10:00am-1:00pm  (ages K-2 grade) Bring your own lunch Cost: $150  Drop in rate:  $35 per day.

PIRATES! Musical Theater Camp: Another fun year of Musical Theater Camps is in the works, this year, boys and girls in grades 2 – 6 can walk the plank into song and movement with our PIRATE musical! Activities would include: learning better singing techniques through the songs in the show, choreography, stage craft (making of props and scenery) costuming, auditioning, good stage techniques for young actors through fun improvisational activities along with traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts. A LOAD of fun for everyone involved! Camp will culminate in a live performance June 28^th at 1:00pm for family & friends to enjoy. Tracy Stemm-Crews, director. (Hey that's me!)
