Is He a Winner or Loser? Check My Lists

A year ago, my friends and I were sitting around discussing the single life. As we sat there talking we came up with 2 lists. A list for losers and a list of expectations in dating. A few weeks ago, I came across these lists and decided I would post them for your reading pleasure. 

LOSERS

1. If you are over 25 and don’t have a professional job with benefits
2. If you don’t have a checking account or debit card
3. If you don’t have a credit card or credit at all (everything is not going in my name!)
4. If you are over 25 and live with your mama or grandma and not saving for a house
5. If you don’t fly! Or have never traveled past the south! Traveling is a must
6. If you still wear golds in your mouth
7. If a box Chevy is your only means of transportation
8. If the only goal in your life is to have a car with rims and a system
9. If your wardrobe consists of nothing but white tees and sneakers
10. If you don’t own dress clothes besides one funeral suit! (this means you don’t partake in any events that are of class!)
11. If you think Red Lobster is a nice classy restaurant.
12. If you don’t have and/or know how to use the following: a computer, email, or the internet
13. If you 25 and up still going to the 18 and up club and a concert not being held that day
14. If child support consumes you whole check
15. If you consider dinner and flowers a gift for Valentines Day
16. If you hang with your friends more then your girlfriend
17. If you require your woman to be fit and in shape and you are not! At least work out with her. Women like eye candy too, we like our men in to be in shape.
18. If your child’s mother got multiple kids by multiple men and your are one of the last fathers
19. If you brag about paying your lady’s rent and she on section 8
20. If you take care of another man’s kids and don’t do anything for your own
21. If you been dating someone longer then 6 months and she still has no title and you are not committed to her yet you expect her to act as your lady and have girlfriend duties
22. If you go to the club weekly and you are not a college student
23. If you are not open to new things and places. Do not say “that’s white people stuff!” just because you were underprivileged and your parents told you that just to make you and themselves feel better about not being able to show you the finer things in life DOES NOT MAKE IT WHITE PEOPLE Stuff!!! HAVE SOME CLASS!!!
24. If you blame the government and the white man for all your problems. Take responsibility for yourself. Handle your business!
25. If you feel that going to jail, having a record and no education makes you real!!! No, it makes you dumb as hell and sets you up for failure the rest of your life. So when people tell you that you will never be S_____, THAT’S REAL!!! Your environment does not have to make you!
26. If your phone is always on silent (that screams trifling)
27. If you complain about your woman never dressing up, but you never take her anywhere nice. (Who is going to dress up to sit in the house?)
28. If you have unprotected sex with the person you are talking to and the first thing out your mouth is the baby not yours when she gets pregnant and/or that she is a whore. Not only does it make you nasty that you would have unprotected sex with somebody you think is whore but trifling that you not claiming a child that you KNOW is possibly yours.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM OUR MEN?

Besides the obvious love, commitment, honesty, romance, and respect ……

1. Make holidays special. Think outside the box. Don't ask me what I want. That’s tacky. Surprise me. That makes it special. Maybe if you listen every now and then you would not only know what I want but what I need.
2. Date your woman! Just because it’s official now doesn't mean that we want to sit in the house and look at you all day. Take us out. Let’s go to the movies, bowling, pool, beaches, a nice dinner, a romantic weekend trip, make a picnic! We don't care as long as you show effort. Stop being cheap and lazy!
3.  When living together split the responsibilities!!! We split the bills don’t we? We both go to a full time jobs don’t we? Then why are the chores not split? If I cook, you wash the dishes. If I go to the grocery store, take the bags out of the car and help me put them up. We both use the bathroom, so why am I the only one cleaning it? And why do we have to tell you to take out the trash? You see it full TAKE IT OUT!!!! Men if you want things to be like back in the day where women did everything, then you do like men back in the day…PAY ALL THE BILLS!
4.  Hanging out with your friends daily is not cool. In fact its borderline homosexual. No grown man should want to be up under another man everyday!
5.  Playing video games and watching sports all day every day is not acceptable. 
6. Chivalry!
7. Its cool to love your momma, in fact I want you to,  but you are in a relationship with me and momma does not come first ALL the time
8.  Do what you say you are going to do. There is nothing worse then feeling like you can't depend on your man.
9.  Make your woman and the relationship a priority!
