Is Racquetball Alive and Well in New Tampa?

I remember racquetball being very popular in the late 70's and early 80's.  Is it making a comeback or is it just a niche sport known and played by few?  I have been fortunate to have dabbled in pretty much every sport over the years and have found racquetball to be my favorite because of the intense cardio workout I get while also satisfying my competitive spirit. 

I hadn't played since 1982, but picked it up again six years ago.  I am so glad I did!  Soon to be 56, I am pleased to say that I am in better shape than I have been for many many years and I am thankful that I have found a great group of guys to play with on a regular basis.

Are there other New Tampa Patch readers out there that also enjoy the sport?  Where do you play?  How often?
