THE Best Tilapia Recipe!

Crazy good fish recipe that includes fish, cheese spinach and healthy as all get out! And it is quick and easy!

Baked Tilapia with Panko, Spinach and
Cheese


What you need:

  • 1 piece of tilapia for each person; buy at Publix and have them put each in their disposable broiler pans
  • Panko bread crumbs
  • Non-stick spray or olive/vegetable oil
  • Butter
  • Cooked fresh or frozen spinach
  • Shredded or deli sliced cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Rinse fish and pat dry then season
    with salt to taste
  3. Wipe out broiler pans then spray of
    grease lightly with oil
  4. When oven reaches 450 degrees, bake
    fish for 4 minutes then turn over and bake for 3 more minutes
  5. Remove fish from over and sprinkle
    panko breadcrumbs liberally on top of  the fish and then top that with a number of
    thin slices of butter to your liking
  6. Return the fish into the oven and
    continue to bake until the bread crumbs are lightly browned
  7. Remove fish once again and top with
    cooked spinach and then the cheddar cheese
  8. Return to the oven one last time
    until the cheese is melted
  9. Remove from oven and enjoy it right
    in the pan
