The Biggest Recording Of My LIfe (Final Day)

The Biggest Recording of my Life (Final Day)

Just arrived back home in Florida. What a week it's been!

Spent a grand total of 36 hours in the recording studio. We were able to complete the rhythm tracks to all 8 of my original tunes as well as all the guitar parts to 5 of the tunes. I will be returning to NJ and Jankland to record the last 3 songs in a few months. Steve and I decided not to record the Jimmy Hendrix tune "Crosstown Traffic." We decided that the original tunes are strong enough — there may even be a hit or two in this!

It was actually snowing when I left NJ this morning. I'm very sad to say goodbye to my good friend Joe Peterson, but I'll see him again in a few months. I learned so much from working with such amazing musicians and Steve Jankowski.

In the next few months, I will be working on practicing my last three songs, creating the artwork for the cover, as well as constructing a live band. This will conclude my daily blog on the biggest recording of my life.

So much happened during this week of recording that I found it difficult to know what to include in my writing. I found myself mentally exhausted most days.  Maybe my next blog will be my biggest tour of my life or something just as exciting!
