'The Biggest Recording of My Life': The Intro

Greetings, New Tampa Patch readers!

Starting on Friday, Feb. 3 until Saturday, Feb. 11, I will be posting a daily blog (including photos) archiving my journey from my home in Wesley Chapel back to where my musical journey began on the Jersey Shore to make the biggest recording of my life.

Starting on Monday, Feb. 6 until Friday, Feb. 10, I will be recording at Jankland Recording Studio under the tutledge of Steve Jankowski (the musical director of Blood Sweat & Tears). This recording will feature eight of my original tunes and possibly a cover of the Jimi Hendrix tune "Cross Town Traffic."

I will be recording with current members of the band Blood Sweat & Tears as well as some other well-seasoned musicians. I will be using this recording to gain interest from major record labels as well as music management companies in an effort to get signed to a recording contract, tour, and earn endorsements.

I have been preparing for this recording since the Fall of 2010. It's time for me to take advantage of this huge opportunity. Hope you enjoy the ride, and thanks for being part of my musical journey.
