Hey there, New Tampa Patch readers! I wanted to check in and give you an update on my recording project. Acclaimed harmonica player Rob Paparozzi (robpaparozzi.com) recorded some burning harmonica playing on my tune "Read Between The LInes".
After hearing the track I wrote him to thank him for his contribution to the project and he replied, "My pleasure, and thanks for having me and thanks to Steve Jankowski for bringin me in. Steve played me a sampling of some of the other tunes and I really loved what I heard, hope we meet and play down the road indeed!"

Tomorrow I have a photo shoot with Russ Robinson, owner of Tampa Band Photos. This marks my second collaboration with Russ. I plan on using the photos to promote the release of my new project. Here is a note from Russ!
"Looking forward to another collaboration with jazz guitarist Tim Riddle, and excited to see what we'll come up with this time! It's always a real pleasure to work with artists like Tim who have a passion for creativity and a willingness to push boundaries, because it allows me as a photographer to think outside the box and experiment with new ideas & concepts. Whereas a majority of my clients are typically looking for fairly straightforward press kit images, Tim always comes to me with a completely blank canvas, which I absolutely love.
This photo shoot will provide Tim with some eye-catching images to help promote his brand new CD, so I'm looking to create some high-impact artwork that will attract lots of eyeballs and get Tim the attention he deserves. Very excited to get to work!"
