Burr & Forman's Denise Dell-Powell and Ronald Cohn Speak at National Special Assets Forum

Dell-Powell and Cohn participated at the Information Management Network's 6th Annual Bank & Financial Institutions Special Assets Forum.

Burr & Forman LLP announces that Orlando-based partner Denise Dell-Powell led a panel at the Information Management Network’s (IMN) 6th Annual Bank & Financial Institutions Special Assets Forum held at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. from February 4 to February 5. Tampa-based partner Ronald Cohn also participated as a panelist. The conference covered the latest on credit, loan review and workouts for assets such as agricultural loans, Commercial & Industrial and equipment lending, as well as real estate.

Dell-Powell moderated a panel on a variety of topics, including deeds payable outstanding (DPO), deeds-in-lieu, foreclosures and sales to borrowers. Cohn was among the panelists who discussed litigation and defense lessons learned. In addition to Dell-Powell and Cohn’s involvement, Burr & Forman was a “Silver” level sponsor of the event.
