'Eyesore' Graffiti is Erased
Bowers-Whitley Career Center students get assistance painting over a wall in the back area of the school.
The Hillsborough Education Foundation has been conducting a series of workshops, Prep for Success, in which students learn life skills for when they finish school and enter the "real world." Part of the program requires students to do a community service project, according to the foundation.
That led to the Construction Program students at the last week painting over a graffiti-covered wall in the back area of the school. Many members of the community united to assist with the project, too, including Junior Achievement and the Community Center.
