Cop Teaches Adorable Tot Rules of the Road

A little girl in a sleek black-and-pink Volkswagen Beetle learned a few rules of the road courtesy of a Tampa Police officer.

It seems Officer Anderson came across the speedy tot as she was cruising through her neighborhood, enjoying a new Christmas present. Rather than ride on by, he decided to take the opportunity to have “a little fun” while teaching her some important road rules, the department wrote on its Facebook page.

While it’s unclear exactly what he pulled her over for, he did “cut her a break with a warning this time,” the department joked.

Anderson wasn’t the only officer to have a warm-hearted encounter this holiday season. It seems another one of Tampa’s finest was on patrol Christmas night when she came across a stray husky. Rather than leave it out in the cold, she decided to take the dog in, give it a nice dinner and help search for its family.
