Crime Files: Police Blotter Activity

Little activity has been reported so far this week:

• Someone cut the screen to a rear lanai and stole a bicycle from a residence at Cypress Run Apartments, Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, in the early morning hours on Monday. The bike was valued at $89, according to police.
• Also on Monday, someone entered a Compton Palms Drive residence at the Compton Place Apartment complex and stole jewelry, jewelry boxes and a laptop computer Monday morning, according to police. There were no signs of forced entry and police believe it may be related to another burglary that same morning at Palma Vista Condos. In the Palma Vista Condos case, someone broke into an Amberly Drive residence and stole a laptop computer, jewelry and two iPod Touches. In both burglaries, no value was given for the items that were stolen.
