Dogtopia of Westchase Celebrates Grand Opening June 27
Dogtopia of Westchase will host its Grand Opening offering dog owners free tours, refreshments, games and great offers from local partners.
Dogtopia®, an award-winning national dog daycare, boarding and spa franchise, announced today that its newest location at 11238 W. Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa is open for business and will celebrate its Grand Opening on Saturday, June 27 from 12 - 4 p.m. Owned by Josh McLane and Ally Gordillo, Dogtopia of Westchase provides residents of Westchase and neighboring communities with a place to take their beloved dogs for fun and supervised open play.
“The residents in this area have told us they used to drive 30 minutes into Tampa to find a facility they could trust with their animals,” said Josh McLane, owner and operator of Dogtopia of Westchase. “We are excited to provide our community with an easily accessible, state-of-the-art facility offering open play daycare, boarding and spa services. Our entire staff is highly trained and dedicated to providing the same level of care that pet parents provide their own dogs at home.”
Dogtopia of Westchase will host its Grand Opening on Saturday, June 27 from 12 – 4 p.m. Dog owners are invited to tour the new facility, enjoy free games and refreshments and meet with representatives from Nutrisource and Big Dog Ranch Rescue, who will have adoptable dogs on site.

ABOUT: Dogtopia of Westchase is the first Dogtopia franchise to open in Florida. The 7,400 square-foot Dogtopia of Westchase offers multiple playrooms with noise and impact reducing rubber floors for dogs of all ages and sizes. An outdoor play area will also open in time for summer. Providing additional peace of mind, the facility employs experienced team members who are trained on dog behavior and proper canine health and safety standards such as CPR and first aid. Located in close proximity to the neighborhood of Westchase and on a major artery leading into Tampa, Dogtopia of Westchase is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (pick up and drop off only).
