Bill Wharton is The Sauce Boss (sauceboss.com), a Gumbo Preacher who cooks up amean pot of gumbo, served free at the end of the show from the stage, as well as dishing up a hefty portion of blues, swamp boogie & southern roots rock with slide guitar wizardry.
Playing mostly original songs, Wharton has been featured on the Food Network’s Extreme Cuisine, and Dan Ackroyd featured one of his song as a Blues Breaker & academy-award-winning director Jonathan Demme featured Bill’s anthem “Let the Big Dog Eat” in his film Something Wild.
