Live at Skipper’s Smokehouse -Bluegrass at the Skipperdome

Jubal’s Kin (jubals-kin.com) Playing what they call "Appalachia-infused Cosmic Americana," Jubal's Kin brings forth a distinctively spare sound grounded in a love for what can only be called the pure and real, at once embracing both a strong roots tradition and fresh indie folk.

Also with Trinity River (reverbnation.com/trinityriver) Made up of Dad Michael, Mom Lisa, Daughter Sarah, Son Joshua, and Daughter Brianna, Trinity River began playing as a group in local churches and fairs four years ago, after the kids all received instruments as gifts within a short time period.
Also The Token Gamblers (tinyurl.com/7zynqya) Brothers Henry and Ricky Melendy author the majority of the songs, pick banjo and guitar, and together with the band, create a sound that is unmistakably honest. It can be called bluegrass, but without a doubt, it's folk music. The brothers Melendy are country boys from Wauchula, Florida and grew up by the old, slow Peace River.  Andrew Haller grooves on the Jew's harp and harmonica and is greatly influenced by World Music and Trance. He discovered bluegrass and found that the Jews harp has a tight fit. It's pure rhythm. Joseph Canitia picks the Mandolin with a tremendous sense of style and feel. His influences are by far too many to name. David Grisman is high on the list. J Tony Macaluso is the backbone. Laying down solid bottom end on the Old Bass Fiddle and also contributing a slew of original tunes. Tony hails from the Big Apple but has a love for roots music that is unmatched.
