Tampa Bay singer-songwriter Alias Julius's childhood in Detroit was filled with singing in church, classical musical studies in school and love for the popular music of the day. Formal training as a classical musician resulted in proficiency in brass instruments but her first musical love remained pop and rock; while performing Tchaikovsky with an orchestra, “Blowin’ in the Wind” was playing her head. Eventually, the Hit Parade won out and she decided to set down up the brass and pick up a guitar. The transition was difficult, but rewarding as Alias Julius felt she had found her true calling. Also with rockers Karmic Tattoo, showcasing soul-healing, impassioned and playful female-powered rock from this foursome of Tampa Bay music veterans.
