Guests will hear speaker Susan Noe Harmon, Employment Law. Susan is the author of several short stories and her first novel titled, Under the Weeping Willow, was made available in 2008. In 2009, Susan published her memoir, To Hide the Truth. Susan is currently writing a fiction, loosely based on a true crime that will be published later this year. She will be speaking about the important aspects of employment law when hiring employees for your business. Susan has a background as an employment specialist with the department for Employment services. She held the title of Chief Disputed Claims Examiner and Associate Manager of the Harlan office of Claims Examiners. She received the Kentucky Department for Employment Services Commissioners award for Bravery for handling dangerous work related situations.
