Atlanta, GA – October 16, 2013 - Floor & Decor's 62,000 square foot Sarasota showroom is scheduled to open on Thursday, November 21st, 2013. The new Floor & Decor showroom is located at 8415 Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota. This location is the retail chain’s eighth store in Florida.
Floor & Decor offers the broadest selection of marble, hardwood, travertine, granite, ceramic, tile, and laminate flooring available to both individual consumers as well as contractors. In addition, Floor and Decor sells a full array of tools and related accessories necessary to complete any hard surface flooring project. Floor & Decor's customers are primarily do-it-yourself consumers and professional contractors.

The leadership team will consist of Chief Executive Merchant, Mickey O’Sullivan and Professional Sales Manager Sandy Sayer. Mickey previously worked at Floor & Decor’s Brandon store location for seven years, but he is excited to return to his hometown and serve that market’s flooring needs. Sandy has spent ten years in the flooring industry serving the bucket and trowel customer to the high end builders.
