"Michael believes a School Board must be both accountable and accessible to its constituents. While recent Board decisions have restricted public comment, Michael wants meetings moved into the community where public participation can be encouraged.

A key focus for Michael is getting the most out of our education budget. Funds are tight and need to be targeted where they can achieve the greatest impact; enhancing the classroom experience. On the School Board, Michael will work to stop costly administrative growth, restore the role of parents, and insist on the transparency and accountability that the current administration lacks.
