Help Rename Pasco-Hernando Community College
The college is expanding its offerings to include two bachelor's degree programs. As it does, a new name is needed to reflect its status.

Pasco-Hernando Community College students tired of saying that mouthful every time they’re asked where they go to school may find relief on the horizon.
The college has announced plans to change its name as it goes through the application process to add two bachelor’s degree programs to its roster. To sweeten the pot, the school is asking for student, faculty and resident input in coming up with a new moniker, according to its Facebook page.
The college has set up an online survey that enables participants to select from a few names already on the drawing board, including College of Pasco-Hernando, Pasco-Hernando College and Pasco-Hernando State College. There are also a few slots where new suggestions can be offered.
