Hillsborough Sheriff Seeks Information On Would-Be Robber

NEW TAMPA, FL – Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman who attempted to rob a Tampa Circle K Tuesday, Jan. 9, shortly after 10:30 p.m.

According to the sheriff’s office, the woman dressed in black clothing, black gloves and wearing a black ski mask entered the Circle K at 14611 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, pointed a silver revolver at the cashier and demanded money.

The would-be robber, however, became frightened and fled the store without the money. She was last seen running toward Skipper Road.

The woman may be white. She is 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall and has blue eyes.
